The nearest airport to the city of Las Vegas is called McCarran International Airport and is about a 5 mile drive away from the city centre. If you are a permanent resident of the United Kingdom then you will not need a visa to enter the United States, as you can enter the country using their visa waiver programme, known as the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (or ESTA for short).
